Here is one example of how Hands in the Community has assisted someone in need







We currently have 25 projects that are in need of a work group. (A workgroup can consist of a youth group, men’s bible study, home bible study, one/two families, etc.)


The following individuals need assistance UPDATED PROJECTS AS OF OCTOBER 19, 2011:



  • Louise T. –lives in Dinuba- fence repair (have materials list but need a donation for materials)

  • Eleanor L. – lives in Dinuba- porch repair on mobile home

  • Miguel A. – lives in Dinuba – needs handicapped ramp for him & his wife.

  • Serita L. – lives in Farmersville - Ramp & weatherization around windows & doors

  • Dorothy C. – lives in Lemoore- tree trimming

  • Margarita R. – lives in Lindsay- needs a walkway (uses a scooter)

  • Margaret G. – lives in Porterville- roof repair & ramp

  • Rita O. – lives in Strathmore- Ramp & bathroom bars for security

  • Tia B. – lives in Tulare- flooring repair, backyard preparation to open day care

  • Ray M. – lives in Tulare- house trim painted

  • Grace H. - lives in Tulare- ongoing yard work

  • Frances S. – lives in Visalia- leaky roof, inside ceiling repair

  • Betty C. – lives in Visalia- roof repair, air conditioner repair

  • Jeannette H. – lives in Visalia- sprinkler repair, vanity installation

  • Paula S. – lives in Visalia- tile replacement

  • Robin C. – lives in Visalia- Ramp repair

  • Geneva P. – lives in Visalia- ongoing yard work

  • Ursula S. - lives in Visalia- paint repair on a patio door

  • Dave C. - lives in Visalia- ongoing yard work

  • Nancy Q. – lives in Visalia- transportation to doctor appointments

  • Gwen B. – lives in Visalia- transportation, food

  • Mimi J. – lives in Visalia- ongoing support (lives alone, widower & family lives far away)

  • Maris S. – lives in Visalia- yard work

  • Johnny Mae T. - lives in Visalia- repair motor scooter

  • Roy D. – lives in Woodlake- professional tree trimming or removal

    To start the process, please have one person from a group contact HNC and we will give you the contact for the needy person directly. If you or a group can help, please arrange a time that works best for everyone. Then give us a call and let us know when you can do the project and the number of people involved, and if there is any equipment needed.
